ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a private organization headquartered in Switzerland. Currently, there are 163 member countries, and in Japan, some parts are gradually transitioning from JIS standards to ISO standards. ISO establishes international standards not only for numerical and inspection standards for each component but also covers a wide range of international standards such as management systems.
