When performing wire drawing and precision wire operations from coiled wire, the term “dies” refers to molds used to approach the target outer diameter value by passing the wire through them. On the other hand, thread rolling dies are also used to form threaded parts. There are two ways to use this die: one is to form a screw by passing the material between two cylindrical dies, and the other is to use two rectangular dies. The die shape differs depending on the equipment. These dies are essential molds in the continuous production of screws.
