TAP
A tap is a tool for cutting internal threads. A typical tap consists of a biting part, a groove part, a thread part, and a shank part, and is a special drill that can relatively easily cut female threads. There are different types of taps, and cutting taps include hand taps, spiral taps, and point taps. Additionally, there are plug taps that deform the pilot hole to prevent chip formation.
