TRUSS SCREW
In screw head shapes, there are also “pan,” “flat,” and “truss” (also known as “bind”). Among these, the truss shape can be considered one of the major players. Compared to the pan shape, the truss shape has a larger bearing surface on the underside of the head, making it less prone to loosening. Therefore, it is often used in positions where loosening is undesirable or in applications where appearance matters.
